Make your own sketchbook to welcome in the Spring
Service Description
Winter is finally over, so let's welcome Spring in all her glory with fresh sketchbooks for capturing your favorite blossoms or journaling for new growth. Participants will learn basic bookmaking vocabulary, receive their own set of bookbinding tools, and leave the class with their own handmade blank book using Secret Belgian Binding. This is a great binding technique that will lay completely flat, and have more protection than a typical Coptic binding. Instructor: This class is taught by Rachel Rushing, artist, Artery Manager, and Gallery Director at HCC. She is also the hands behind Polaris Plants. Her artwork spans across photography, collage, installation, and social practice. When she's not working with artists she's probably cuddling with her two dogs and watching movies with her wife, or planting something.
Cancellation Policy
Classes: Customers are able to cancel their booking up to 48 hours in advance. No refunds are allowed if customers attend the class being offered. If customer did not attend their booked class session, they may request a refund for up to 24 hours after the class has ended. Release of Liability By booking this service the customer and all associated parties agree to hold harmless, release, and discharge all Holyoke Art employees and contractors from all claims, present and future, known or unknown, in any manner arising out of participation. Customers hereby acknowledge that they assume responsibility for any personal or bodily injury or property damage which may befall them before, during, or as the result of their participation, and they will forever release Holyoke Art, its employees, and contractors from any claim, whether it be based upon negligence, and/or inadvertent or unforeseen incidents.
