What makes comics comics? Make some comics and find out!
Service Description
Learners will experiment with some of what makes comics comics – panels, panel borders, word balloons, etc. as well as techniques including penciling, inking, line weight, and coloring – while we make our own 8-page mini-comic together. This session and the materials are made possible through support from the Print Shop, Holyoke ART, and the Holyoke Local Cultural Council (a program of the Massachusetts Cultural Council). All ages are welcome and families are encouraged. Registration required, limited to 12 participants, and information about how to pick up your supply kit will follow registration.
Cancellation Policy
Classes: Customers are able to cancel their booking up to 48 hours in advance. No refunds are allowed if customers attend the class being offered. If customer did not attend their booked class session, they may request a refund for up to 24 hours after the class has ended. Release of Liability By booking this service the customer and all associated parties agree to hold harmless, release, and discharge all Holyoke Art employees and contractors from all claims, present and future, known or unknown, in any manner arising out of participation. Customers hereby acknowledge that they assume responsibility for any personal or bodily injury or property damage which may befall them before, during, or as the result of their participation, and they will forever release Holyoke Art, its employees, and contractors from any claim, whether it be based upon negligence, and/or inadvertent or unforeseen incidents.
